Glasto 2010: Wednesday (day -1)

Siesta under the Low Low Gazebo with tea and guitar

That is Bach, and it rocks, it’s a rock-block of Bach

It is so hot that I am wearing sun-cream in the shade. I know it won’t help but I want to believe it will.

1pm BST: Glasto 2010 officially begins (first spontaneous mass cheer heard from the main site)

And nobody knows what to do with the heat, under sunshine pylons we’ll meet…

Saw England v Slovenia on the Pyramid stage. May have been part of the largest single audience watching that game. England scored, they cheered, I left.

Hammocks above the Park. Comfiest spot in the festival?

A permanent marker pen has been procured and the gazebo is being tagged up. Our plans for periscopes and wood-panelled walls may be a shade ambitious, but some decoration can surely beĀ achieved.

Fork Capo Music (I’ll wear a suit if you’ll cut my hair)

The earlier cheer was a bit half-hearted, but this evening things are getting boisterous

Signals spelt out by Chinese lanterns rise in constellation from the glowing fronds of the stone circle

precious summer time
